As a self-funded club, we continuously have to look at new ways to try and raise funds to help the local community.

To aid this our club sponsor “TMG Mortgage Network” CEO Scott Thorpe has decided to partake in the “Mascot Gold Cup 2023”. The event will take place on 30th April 2023 at Wetherby races. This will be aired on ATR with a start time of 2.20pm.

The event takes place over one furlong and includes 5 small fences including the “open ditch” and “water jump”.

Scott, as a Rotherham United fan, has managed to persuade RUFC to allow him to compete in the club mascot - Miller Bear.

Scott has only recently undergone keyhole surgery on his knee, so let’s all get behind him as we try and raise as much money as possible for the local boys and girls.
