Story
Sponsor our outdoor swim on Saturday 17th October on a mountain top pool! And yes, it'll be really cold and windy for an outdoor plunge.
The Savoy Theatre in Monmouth is a rare gem! Run by a trust to keep this theatre and cinema going, it's a grade II* listed building. They need to replace its lost income to keep afloat. The trust are desparate to save this precious theatre which means so much to its local people.
Without the arts and culture to sustain us, life seems pointless so we want to do our bit to help them so they can continue to nurture our brains and souls with the arts again!
*And this is what we will do!*

4 years agoWE DID IT! The swim and over £1500 raised so far. People can still donate. It was cold! Air temperature 6C & water 9C. Thank to everyone who has donated, encouraged, thinks we're mad/brave, etc. And thank you to our support team - Jeanne, Lisa, Robert & Kirsty Jones who joined us. Sue has worked in the arts as a dancer, choreographer and movement teacher. She now teaches qigong, Tai Chi and meditation. Sharon is retired after 35 years working in the pharmaceutical industry. Both of us love the Savoy Theatre. Sue Gibson will also join us!
