Story

Do you enjoy your TT Tea & Cake?

Would you like to help to try and ensure that this is available next year and going forward?

Lots of small community organisations and especially Churches on the Isle of Man rely on additional income raised during the TT and other Motorsport events on the Island to support their upkeep and activities during the year. With the cancellation of this year's events, the usual provision of tea and cake (and sometimes much more, including comfort, guidance and shelter when needed) for the enjoyment of fans visiting the Island, will not take place.

If you are getting your TT fix by listening to Manx Radio's Mountain Memories whilst sitting in your own hedge (if you have one) or watching re runs of old videos, why not make your own tea, cake and sandwiches and give a small donation? This will be distributed as required, depending on the funds raised. Just think how much money you will have saved on getting to the Island alone!

We love watching the racing at such places as Sulby Methodist Church, Union Mills and Braddan Church to mention on a few, but there are many places "off course" that will also be affected.

Please help if you can and stay safe until next year.
