Story
The owners of the Mall, Capital & Regional are planning to cut down 81 mature lime trees, increase the number of shops by taking 30% of the existing open space and create a children's play area next to the polluting bus station. To fund this, and the council and TfL, C&R and Mount Anvil intend to build 4 tower blocks at least 29 storeys high in a predominantly Victorian area and claim the development is compatible with the area!

Thank you for organising anything to help get the message out that many of us think what is happening here is, among other things, an assault on beauty and borders on the criminal.
