#3: We made the interior of the original Blah on a shoe string and will try (where possible) to mainly do the same again. This next push is to help with the interior set up and basic music set up. The extra money raised will help us to then create a good quality venue set up which people will want to attend/play. We will be sure to keep the DIY Blah charm and will continue with our ethos of building things out of materials we find. As well as this, we will continue with fundraising events and selling our art. #2: We knew all of this wouldn’t be possible if we couldn’t get our foot through the door of a new premises. Your contributions have give us belief that we can achieve this. #1: Thank you so much for helping us reach our initial target. We have been completely overwhelmed by your love and support. It is down to you that we believe a new venue is possible. We are working hard behind the scenes to move forward with Blah but understandably these things take time. This situation has been thrown upon us and so it has taken the last week or so to estimate a financial breakdown of new venue set up costs. After asking for some feedback and doing some calculations we are going to increase our fundraiser to £14,000.
