Brighton UCU thanks everyone who supported us in our fight against compulsory redundancies. The attendance at our virtual picket lines and rallies by other trade unionists, and the messages of support and generous financial donations we received from UCU and other union branches were crucial in helping us bring our dispute to a negotiated resolution. The UCU strike action due to begin on Monday 8/2/21 has been called off. The UCU and the University have met today regarding the dispute in connection with the reorganisation of Information Services. The dispute is resolved and as a result the UCU has agreed to call off its industrial action. This page has will henceforth cease fundraising, but we are immensely grateful for the amazing donations and support that we have received. Thank you! Brighton UCU #SolidarityToAll #JoinAUnion
