For those of you who don't know, Nikki and I are volunteering in Northern France with the organization Care4Calais.

Care4Calais is a charity which aims to deliver essential aid and support to refugees within Northern France as well as surrounding areas. 

Calais was in the public eye less than a year ago, yet since the camps burnt down, the media coverage has decreased, making the refugee crisis in Northern France almost forgotten about. We want to raise awareness of the fact that although the camps are no longer standing, the people are still here and more displaced than ever. They are seeking refuge in living conditions that are unimaginable. But they don’t need to be. With your help and support, we can provide necessities that may seem basic to us but can potentially save the life of a refugee.

We will use the money that is collected to buy specific items that are urgently needed such as food, men's clothing, and sleeping bags.
