Story
All donations collected will be used for refurbishing the bridge. Any monies left over shall be used for maintenance of the structure.
Craigellachie Bridge is a cast iron arch bridge across the River Spey at Craigellachie, near to the village of Aberlour in Moray, Scotland. It was designed by the renowned civil engineer Thomas Telford and built from 1812–1814. It is a Category A listed structure.
Craigellachie Bridge is in need of major restoration and if something isn't done soon it will deteriorate into scrap iron and be lost forever. Can you imagine what the French would do if the Eiffel Tower was to go the same way?
Please help maintain this beautiful landmark and acknowledge our links to the past that make us proud to be British.
