Class 414 Preservation We aim to ensure the survival of an original 1959 Class 414 2-HAP Southern region suburban unit 4311.One of only two in existence in original unrefurbished condition including tungsten lamps and cloth.This unit is in completely unmolested condition with no evidence of graffiti or etching to the original windows.

We are looking to top up the funds by £10,400 to complete the purchase and move the unit to a secure preserved railway line in North Wales. The current home of this iconic unit is closing due commercial redevelopment.
