I can‘t quite believe I’m setting up a page like this, but here goes 😟

I met my friend Sarah in 1999 during our first year at University, studying different courses but both from Hull. Sarah has been involved and present during many of my life milestones (Birthdays, Weddings, Christenings) and I know that will apply to lots of others in her huge circle of friends, proving what a popular and larger than life character she is. I‘ve had some very funny, cringeworthy, and certainly memorable nights out in Sarah‘s company hence the cover picture used for this page.

Sarah was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 4 years ago, she was treated after having a lumpectomy followed by chemothearpy and radiotherapy and pescribed tamoxifen tablets.

Sarah was given the all clear only to be told just 2 years later that her Cancer had returned, this time in her Spine Bone and Liver. The doctors have told Sarah that she cannot be cured but she is receiving treatment to give her as much time as possible. The treatment now involves 6 weekly bone injections and an oral chemotherapy drug with scans every 3 months......

Sarah is still working as a Primary School teacher but has since reduced her working week to 3 days.

We want to raise some money for Sarah to help her pay for items on her bucket list... she would like to see the Northern Lights or Zip Wire over Snowdonia - she also said she quite fancied a Hot Air Balloon ride.

We are also holding a raffle at the U2 Tribute event taking place at The Hallmark Hotel Hull on Friday, 16th March. All of the money taken on the night from the raffle will be given straight to Sarah. I know some people have said they will not be able to attend but would like to donate to Sarah‘s bucket list fund.
