Hi!

So, I have decided to take the somewhat crazy decision to give up my London life and job within the events industry to be a part of the amazing work with Women In Leadership are implementing in Uganda and I CAN'T WAIT!

Anyone who knows me knows the love I have for Uganda and after volunteering with Soft Power Education in 2014 I knew I had to go back. With a love for Uganda and strong passion for gender equality there seems no better place then me than at Women in Leadership Uganda!

It seems somewhat unimaginable that 31 million girls all around the world are not in education and that nearly two thirds of the worlds illiterate are women. Women in Leadership runs multiple programmes which help women in rural Uganda learn both practical and educational skills which ultimately bring about long lasting and sustainable change and ultimately change lives.

All of the money I raise goes straight to WIL so they can continue with the amazing work they are already doing out in rural Uganda.

I will also be writing a blog when I am out there so you can keep up to date with my ups and downs, daily life and the amazing changes which I will be a part of.
