Our daughter Bella has a very rare chromosome deletion, known as burnside butler syndrome, which affects learning and development. Her difficulties mean she hurts herself a lot and has no sense of danger and can't be in a standard toddler bed. She's currently in a tent at night but she's getting too big and strong for this to hold her. Her brother has the same condition and has a special bed and so we want to try to raise money to get one for Bella too as these beds last into adulthood if needed. The bed is padded and so she won't be able to hurt herself at night anymore.
