On Wednesday 16th November 2016, our precious and very special father , Alan Christopher Hollis, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly whilst alone on holiday in Cyprus, aged 62 years.

Our father leaves behind not just a heartbroken family but his two beloved dogs, 'his boys' , Guiseppe ( Italian Spinone ) and Buddy ( Cypriot Rescue ) which are now in our loving care.

Our family have owned numerous Italian Spinone since the early 1990's and have previously been members and followers of the ISCGB ( Italian Spinone Club Great Britain) The breed have been very much part of our life and family for many years.
The ISCGB fundraise for Spinone health and research and also Spinone Rehome.

The Animal Health Trust , which is a registered Charity, have a Spinone specific research fund that is currently used for research into CA ( Cerebral Ataxia) & Epilepsy in the breed.

Paphiakos & CCP Animal Welfare is a Cypriot registered charity that are dedicated to preventing cruelty and suffering to all animals, promoting responsible ownership and reducing numbers of unwanted and mistreated animals in Cyprus.
The Charity provides free rescue, emergency and medical care for every animal in distress and implements education initiatives to promote spay / neuter programmes for strays.

Within our pack of family dogs we have 5 Cypriot rescues and our father , whilst on his regular visits to Cyprus , always made time to be a pro-active supporter and volunteer at Paphiakos Shelter.

With all of this in mind, these causes , that were all very close to Dads heart , are of great importance to us as a family and our wish is to give support to these charities in his memory.
