Sadly, after a severe cardiac arrest on Thursday, Sara Applegate (nee Harrison) lost her fight for life at 7:08pm on Saturday 22 July. She was just 48 years old.

All those who knew Sara will know that her family were everything to her. She was so very proud of her three children Tash (23), Beki (21) and Callum (15). All of Sara's friends knew all about her children's activities because they literally were her world. Tash, Beki and Callum are of course supported by the rest of their family but their lives have been turned upside down. At a very young age they are faced with planning their mum's funeral. Callum is due to sit his GCSEs next summer. These are such important years for all of them and they face a future without the one person that always championed them, to everybody, their mum.

Nobody should have to deal with this at such a young age. One way we can help is by raising funds for Sara's funeral. Anything extra that is raised will go towards supporting Callum through his last years of education and anything else the children need.
