Where it all began

Sapphire Cheer & Dance was born in 2016 when two friends Ashleigh & Samantha decided to make their dream of creating their own Cheer & Dance Team become a reality. Ashleigh & Samantha have competed on the cheer circuit for many years & their love of the sport is evident in their commitment & determination to provide this environment in a Community where opportunities are limited through various factors.

Why I'm passionate about Sapphire

Ashleigh & Samantha provide a safe, controlled, disciplined & all encompassing environment where local kids can thrive & maintain a healthy lifestyle in their local Community. Ashleigh & Sam provide Scholarships for their most improved athletes or outstanding dedication etc & are actively seeking to provide Junior Coaching qualifications. Skills transferable in to adulthood. Gives the kids confidence & the self belief they can achieve. As the club grows we are seeing people like myself travel to attend, thus benefitting a District as well as a Community. These girls work tirelessly as volunteers while having full time jobs, to develop & grow the club.

How will crowdfunding help?

Sapphire will attend their first ever competition, at the Emirates in Glasgow on the 3rd/4th June 18. They will enter 4 teams, a total of 45 Cheerleaders across 4 age groups. With competition comes the cost of a bespoke kit at £100 per child. The opportunity to perform after 16 months of hard work & determination is here. A showcase of the talent the community holds. Once in a lifetime opportunity for some of those chilldren. With training in full swing, expenses have increased, equipment needs renewed etc, therefore every penny helps.
