As-salaam Alaikum,

We wanted to raise money as a form of Sadaqah Jariyah to build water wells in memory of our beloved Nanu (grandmother), Sucha Bibi whom returned to her Creator this blessed Friday 24th December. Our Nanu was many things, a much-loved grandmother, mother, aunty, sister and mother-in-law and was always full of smiles and positivity.

The best gift one can give to our loved ones is Sadaqah Jariyah and plentiful dua, while also gaining reward for ourselves.

The Prophet ﷺ said, “When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them.”

We are dedicating this Sadaqah for our grandmother. We aim to raise £3500 as Sadaqah Jariyah on behalf of our grandmother, which will be dedicated to building water wells in Pakistan which will provide clean water to people as well as donating to orphans and people who will reap benefits from this Sadaqah Jariyah IN SH ALLAH. The building of these water wells will be a continuous source of reward for our Nanu in this world and the hereafter, for every person who benefits from the wells, may she get rewarded for it AMEEN. Please donate generously. May this weigh heavy on your scales on the Day of Judgement, Ameen thumma ameen.

Ibn-e-Abbas (رضي الله عنه) was asked, “What form of the charity is best?” He said, ” Giving water to drink.” Prophet Muhammad (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم) said: “Whoever digs a well, no thirsty soul will drink from it whether it be a human, jinn or bird, except that Allah will reward him on the day of Judgement.”

May Allah (SWT) make this a beautiful means of Sadaqah Jariyah for all and May Allah (SWT) grant all those who are sick or battling any illnesses Shifaa and bless all our Marhumeens the beautiful surprises and fruits of Jannat-Ul-Firdous Ameen thumma ameen.
