Story

On the 7th September 2020 we lost Elliot to adrenal cancer (ACC) at the age of 31. Elliot was an incredible and fun loving friend. He was passionate about living life to fullest -and really brought this home and inspired many with his articles in the Guardian . He also wished for a way for people to remember him and give to the causes he cared about, and his family set-up the Elliot Dallen Trust .

I was lucky enough to know Elliot since university and in his memory several of us are undertaking personal challenges. I'd greatly appreciate your support (and motivation to get me up these hills) by donating here. Your contributions will all be donated (and I'll include GiftAid) to the Elliot Dallen Trust, which is currently supporting: (i) Maggies - providing psychological support to people with cancer; (ii) World Land Trust - for global conservation; and (iii) research for ACC which Elliot had.

I'm currently based in Pakistan, and said I'd attempt some trail running up some fells (hills in the common tongue). To my surprise/horror there is a series of 3 races over this January/February, getting incrementally harder: a 6km climbing 600m; a 11km climbing 800m; and if my limbs are working at the end a half-marathon climbing 1000m....and I've signed up for all 3. Please support me in conquering these intimidating fells, and giving to these amazing causes in Elliot's memory.

You can see details of the races here , and I'm sure embarrassing photos will be on there soon after!

Thank you
