I've raised £1000 to help support the Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand.

In June my little sister Sienna was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. The Starship Children's Hospital have been tremendous from the start. They are giving the best care, love and support, not only for Sienna but for the whole family, as well as providing medical treatment that is second to none. This amazing organisation relies a lot on external funding to make it all happen, so in order to say thank you I will be doing a 24 hour Murph challenge to raise money for the hospital and help them to keep doing the brilliant work that they are doing for Sienna and so many other children just like her.
The Murph workout is named after US Navy SEAL, Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was sadly killed in Afghanistan. The workout was one of Murphy's favourite and is now commonly completed on Memorial Day as well as appearing in multiple CrossFit Games and in CrossFit gyms around the world. A Murph consists of a 1 mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 press-ups, 300 squats and then another 1 mile run to finish. For this challenge I will be seeing how many Murphs I can complete in 24 hours, the current world record being 16.
