Hi my name is Sam Booker. I am 23 years old. I have recently been training for doing a fundraiser for mental health. Recently though I discovered a young lad who lives in my town had been diagnosed with a rare form of bowel cancer. This made me change my mind and I have decided that I would like to raise money for Aaron Wright (only 22 years of age). This is his and his families story so far..
"Aaron was diagnosed in October 2016 with a rare form of bowel cancer (Pseudomyxoma Peretonei). He has been receiving chemotherapy every week since 2nd November, and on Monday 9th January we were told the chemotherapy has been ineffective and that the cancer has spread further; but he is still fighting and his next option is a targeted chemotherapy, which the NHS no longer funds, at a cost of £2,246.00 every three weeks. This is why we are asking for your support however small to raise funds towards his treatment and quality of life.
Aaron is positive, hardworking and would help anyone in need and, as you can imagine, very reluctant for us to ask you for help.
Aaron is 22 years old, went to school at Sir John Leman High in Beccles; currently works for an engineering company and was studying for his HNC/HND in Engineering. He completed his Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award in February 2016, which involved lots of voluntary work helping others and then in April 2016 went on to his Diamond Award that involved a challenging 60 mile walk over 2 days from Salhouse to Carlton Colville, raising money for the Duke of Edinburgh charity. He was very fit and healthy playing football and rowing regularly."

Me and my friend Kyle would like to raise £500 by doing over 100miles of running in 3 and a half days. This will be running from Southwold to Cromer and back in that time. We are already keen runners so hopefully training shouldnt take too long. We will be doing this in June when fingers crossed the weather isnt so sh%t.
