I've raised £1500 to help fund our new ‘Song School’ - a dedicated space for music education and rehearsal for our Cathedral Choirs

We’re raising money to transform a former café into Salford Cathedral’s first ever ‘Song School’ – a dedicated space for music education and rehearsal for our Cathedral Choirs.
We’ve assembled a team of 22 Cathedral Runners to run a collective 125km at Media City on Thursday 27 June. They include choir members, parents, staff, and the congregation – from experienced parkrunners to those doing couch-5k.
Your support will help us kick start the transformation of this space so we can invest in things like reading desks, whiteboards, music folders, shelving and proper storage space. These things will help us maximise the opportunities for the children and young people of Salford to fulfil their musical potential as part of our Cathedral Music Foundation.
Our runners include:
Clergy – Fr Jude Elodimuo, Fr Anthony Nnajiofer
Girls’ Choir – Tamara Adesugba, Ciara Desmond, Izzy Obikudu, Shalom-Francesca Tifu
Cambiata Boys’ Choir – Tobi Adesugba, Patrick-Pio Tifu
Cathedral Choir – Dea McGonigal, Claire Spencer, Hannah Whelan
Choir Parents – Kemi Adesugba, Adiba S. Onuma, Veronica Tifu
Congregation – Clovis Ayeah, Eduardo Bordonaba, May Diaz De Rienzo, Hugo Javier Bueno Melian, Joshua Turnbull
Staff – Maura Pasini, Alex Patterson, Corinne Turnbull, David Wynn-Evans
