I've raised £1500 to fund Safe Suppers next 3 dinners.

I started Safe Suppers in November 2019 as a passion project. I was overwhelmed with life and had an aha moment that I needed to share with the people who impacted my journey.
I had been racking my brain about Safe Suppers since the start of the pandemic and how I’d keep it going with a much lower income. I currently fund Safe Suppers out of my own pocket because I know how much money weighs on the heart when you’re trying to navigate your way through life and I’ve never wanted it to be an issue why people can’t make it.
I want them to sit down, leave their load at the door and breathe. I’m thinking ahead, I’m thinking about the next 3 Safe Suppers and planning them for the 30 people I can support as soon as the pandemic is over. I’d love if you could make a donation, no matter how small to making my little project something that can have a big impact.
Initially, it was a moment of extending gratitude. Each person present was someone I knew personally, they have all impacted my life in big and small ways. For me, it was an even to be reminded of old lessons and learn some new ones.
More than ever, the world is moving at lightening speed – it's getting harder and harder to slow down each day and take full inventory of ourselves as complete functioning beings.
Safe Suppers is a dinner for a moment of calm, in what seems like, a never-ending storm. It's dedicated time to take a step back from life's mayhem, unload and be entirely present for a few hours.
The safe in 'Safe Suppers' is for 'safe space' – everything discussed in the room will remain just there. No judgment.
