Story

When girls did not have the right to study, but another girl has prepared free education for girls in Afghanistan.
Sabera Sayeed, founder and CEO of TAIB Education Foundation

I am Sabera Sayeed, from Kabul Afghanistan. I was a medical student at Kabul Medical University, like million girls in Afghanistan I am no longer allowed go to university and study.
Clearly, it was very heartbreaking for me and all girls in Afghanistan, but I did not give up in 2021 I founded TAIB Education Foundation with slogan Education for all without any discrimination, I have provided free education for girls/women across Afghanistan. So far, more than ten thousand girls/women are studying through different free classes.
I did this initiative because I believe The right to education is a fundamental human right. Every individual, irrespective of race, gender, nationality, ethnic or social origin, religion or political preference, age or disability, is entitled to a free education. I want to show the whole world that women and girls are not weak, education is their basic right. And women and girls should be respected in every society. I want to tell the whole world that a woman's education plays a key and effective role in the education of her children, because if a woman is educated, a nation will be educated. I want to be a role model for other girls of my country, in order to never give up and find alternative ways to study and learn.
