I've raised £1000 to to remember Rycroft and help other children like him get home, happy and healthy.

Joe Pitts played for Bradford Northern, Bramley, Batley, and West Bowling, Greengates and Idle as a younger man - now, 37 years on from his last game and as he approaches his 70th birthday, he is taking to the field at Odsal one last time to help us remember Rycroft.
I might only last a few minutes, but what the heck, go for it, and have oxygen and doctors on standby - Joe!
Rycroft died in June at Great Ormond Street as a consequence of an infection while he was recovering from a bone marrow transplant, necessitated by his genetic condition Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome (SDS)
In his memory, a Rycroft XIII are taking on the British Asian Rugby Association (BARA), led by former England International and BARA CEO Ikram Butt.
All funds will go towards Rycroft's three charities:
Great Ormond Street Hospital - Fox Ward
Colchester Hospital Children's Ward
We are so grateful to Joe for pulling on his boots one last time in memory of Rycroft, and we know it would mean a lot to him to break the £500 target he has set for himself. Any contribution big or small is very gratefully received and will help very ill children like Rycroft was get home to their families, happy and healthy.
