Story
Our church is in the centre of Stopsley village, Luton and has been here for over 150 years, serving the community in many ways. We have been working on the roof for the past few weeks and then this past weekend arrived to find that virtually all the walls, the stone entrance way, and some of the hall windows had been painted with gloss paint.
We have to use a specialist company to remove this paint to ensure no further damage is done to this beautiful building.
Thank-you so much for any financial help you can give. We have been overwhelmed with kind messages and offers of practical help too.
Blessings
We have just hit our initial target but please continue to give as we also have the huge roof repair costs to find to keep our church a place of safety and beauty. Thankyou

Awful when a place of worship is vandalised. Glad the paint has been removed!

Outrageous! Not our church but we live close by. Reverend Estdale used to teach me and this was his church. I was bridesmaid and godmother at this church. We need to respect each other's religion!
