Story
Help Sevenoaks Area Dementia Friendly Forum raise at least £5,000 to support people in the Sevenoaks District area with dementia in setting up a Forget me not café at Knole, the café will provide support and companionship to those who have issues with memory or as well as their carers, family and friends.
The money raised will help run more dementia workshops, offering residents help and advice on dementia and its affects and how to look after the health and wellbeing of people affected by dementia and their carers.
Other projects will include:
- Delivering more dementia friends sessions to front line staff and residents
- Information booklets on services available locally in GP surgeries
