Virtual run to Wembley Stadium during the time EURO 2020 should have been on!

EURO 2020 should have been taking place this summer but obviously with the events of the last few months this has been postponed until the summer of 2021.

So with no football this summer (apart from the possibility of Burnley v Watford behind closed doors) - I was looking to do something EURO 2020 related, whilst also helping others out at the same time.

So from Friday 12th June (what should have been the day of opening game of the tournament), I will be "virtually" running the distance from my house to where the final should have been held, Wembley Stadium in time for when the final should have been held - Sunday 12th July. That's 180 miles in 30 days.

If you are in a position where you are able to donate any money towards my challenge - then there are two organisations I feel deserve that money.

First is Mind.

Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling. Mind believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. They provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

The second is Orford FC Juniors.

Orford FC Juniors are an FA Charter Standard Community Club that currently provides football to over 100 children aged 4-16 in the Orford area of Warrington. The club strives to provide any child with an opportunity to play the game they love.

With the world the way it is currently, asking for donations may seem like a bit much to ask but it doesn't matter how big or small the donations are - I know how much it will mean not only to both organisations but to all the people who use them.
