Story

Suzy at Glynneath Guinea Pig Rescue works day and night to rescue, rehab and rehome guinea pigs. She has a constant stream of neglected squeepers through her doors, but when they leave they are happy and healthy and off to lovely homes.

What's that got to do with me? Well for the entireity of December I am going to run (or walk) at least 3km a day. Depending on practicality, safety and health it will switch between running and walking, but always be in one lump. It isn't quite climbing everest but for someone terribly out of shape it is a massive deal. Especially every day! And it is cold, and dark!

I'll be blogging my terribly sweaty journey so you can follow me remembering how legs work.

I'm hoping that my suffering will inspire you to donate to help these little peegs. Many require operations or medications which can be extremely expensive. Other guinea pigs at the rescue are deemed lifers and stay at the rescue due to issues too expensive or complicated for new owners, so they also have their own monthly bills. Anything we can do to help this brilliant organisation is amazing, as every penny really does help. Every single penny that is received here will go direct to the rescue as soon as funds are collected. This money is then used int he vet bill fund.

Not only does the rescue do good by saving the peegs, they do good in making other people's lives better. I live with three guinea pigs that were from Glynneath, and they've made me ridiculously happy. So she really is a purveyor of all things good.

THANKYOU!
