I will be running the Brighton Half Marathon in aid of Painted Dog Conservation 😁🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Painted wolves, painted dogs or african wild dog are Africa's most endangered carnivore with only around 6000 left in the wild, threatened by habitat loss, disease and human impact. As a professional animal artist, I have painted the dogs throughout my career, donating whenever I can to several of the brilliant conservationists and organisations on the ground in Africa that support the dogs cause.

Not only will I be running the half marathon, but I will also be doing 13 (for the 13 miles of the run) original paintings of the dogs to give away as prizes to all that donate to me. EVERYONE who donates the £13 and or above will receive a print of their choice from one of these pieces and will go in the draw for the originals once I have completed the run. The pieces will be available to view on my Instagram page @irvinearts and on my Facebook page @heatherirvinearts on the run up to the marathon and will all be clearly numbered for your print choice. That way everyone who supports the cause gets a prize!

Ok, so how it will work is this...I am asking £13 for a single donation (£10 donation and £3 to cover the print, postage and packaging). If you wish to enter more than once then you will pay £13 for your first donation and £10 for every entry thereafter ie £23 for 2 entries, £33 for 3 entries and so on. You can enter as many times as you like but you will only be eligible for one print and one prize only, so it makes it fair for everyone. I will put all donators names in a hat and draw the prizes once I have completed the run. PLEASE remember to leave me a message on here, on Insta or via email of me your print choice number, address and no. of entries so I can keep tags on all that enter.
