Story

I am running the Great Birmingham 10k run on May 1st 2022 to raise awareness of suicide amongst young people living in Birmingham/Solihull. Suicide has become one of the leading causes of death of people aged between 15- 25 year olds with around 200 young people dying of suicide per year.

I have chosen to run the 10K in memory of Bobbie Saxon Woolley who sadly took her own life on the 30th August 2021 She had just turned 20. Bobbie was a funny, caring and bright young girl who always showed her kindness and made everyone smile. She was my baby cousin, Best Friend and Sister all rolled into one and we miss her every day.

The donations made will go towards different Mental Health Charities working in Birmingham/Solihull and we hope that all the money raised will prevent another family feeling the loss we have.
