Story
After a short illness we sadly lost Ron Long (Snr.) on 12 February 2021 aged 93. As well as being a huge part of the Black Bess story, he was a beloved friend to many. If you would like to make a donation in his memory, we will be splitting all proceeds equally between the Royal British Legion, The Alzheimer's Society and Mind.

4 years agoYesterday, we said our goodbyes to Ron. As a family, we’ve been overwhelmed with the love and support from you all. We all know he would be beaming with pride to know that the people he held so dear have made such an incredible contribution in his memory. We’re going to leave the page running for a little longer but wanted to express our most sincere gratitude to each and every one of you. All our love, The Long and Dunn families.
