Team Fat Blokes started raising funds for German Shepherd Dog Rescue North East region in August 2012. Since then we have raised in excess of £70k of which every penny has gone on paying kennel bills and vet bills and saving dogs. Ray and I have never taken one penny in expenses, the charity have no paid staff and no admin fees. We bought our own buckets, Ray made the stand, we get our own business cards printed. We have always taken saving dogs seriously, we are not dog trainers, we are no good on the phones, but we can stand, or for me sit for a few hours on a Saturday and talk dogs. A few weeks ago my fund raising partner Ray Lambert went to his GP and was diagnosed with cancer, he is in Friday for major surgery and we are not fundraising until Ray is on the mend, but the dogs still need help, that is where you come in. Please put a smile on Ray's face and donate in his name to GSDR North East region and help keep the wheels turning and help Ray get better, I start the ball rolling with a £10 donation for Ray.
