This year in order to celebrate Robert's 55th birthday, the Fawcett family and their friends are not just partying but swimming to raise money in order to build new washroom facilities at Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive school in Anguilla.

As many of your know we have very strong connections with Anguilla and we would like to give something back to the people and the island who have given us and our friends so many wonderful times and memories over the years.

The Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School was opened in 1986, and is named after Mrs Albena Lake Hodge who was a leading politician, Minister of Education and headteacher of the Valley Secondary School. In 1986 Comprehensive education was introduced and the secondary school was renamed in her honour. They currently have very limited facilities and funding, and we are hoping to make a difference with a huge undertaking:-

On the 29th July bright and early at 07:00am, we will be swimming from Grand Case, St Maarten to Blowing Point in Anguilla. It is a swim that has not been attempted for many years and at approximately 7 miles, it is certainly not going to be easy! Warren Buddle and Calypso have kindly supplied us with support boats, and we are hosting a party (for those still alive!) at Smokeys at the Cove.
