I've raised £2500 to help us deliver, as much aid as possible to the people of Ukraine 🇺🇦

To everyone who has donated so far we are blown away, I’ve upped the target as I know we‘re just getting started!
There is so much we can do with that money so thank you from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️
Hi all,
As everyone is aware, millions of people have had their lives turned upside down over the last week following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Having listened to the news on a daily basis, I was getting increasingly frustrated at feeling unable to help. However, I was recently inspired by those going above and beyond to actively support the people of Ukraine, and now I want to do my bit.
I drive for a living, and after getting approval from my friends Sam and Hannah to borrow their van, I informed my boss Joe that I wanted to take the next week off to go to Ukraine with a van filled with aid items. After hearing this, he informed me that he would love to join and keep me company for the long drive!
Our plan is to head for Lviv in Ukraine, which is currently overflowing with refugees waiting for transport into Poland. Many have had to leave at a moment’s notice, and leave all of their belongings behind. By the time we leave on Monday 7th March, the van will be filled with nappies, clothes, baby milk, first aid kits, etc., to deliver to Lviv. With your support, we can then continue back to Poland, refill the van with food and water, and return to Lviv as many times as time and money will allow.
To maximise the success of our trip, we need to cover costs for fuel, ferries, breakdown cover, insurance, and all of the supplies. It won’t be cheap, so it would mean the world to us if you could donate to our cause, no matter how big or small a donation. Any money left over will be given to local Ukrainian charities.
We will keep you updated with photos and posts as we go. Thank you to everyone in advance for helping us to make a difference for those currently much less fortunate than us.
All of our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Ukraine.
Thank you, from Rob and Joe x
