I will be running the 2025 London Marathon to raise money for Oake Meadows Care Home in Taunton.

Oake Meadows is where mine and Lily's dad, Rob Adam, spent the last few years of his life. Those who knew him know just what a force of personality he was, both before he was diagnosed with Early-Onset Alzheimer's in his fifties, and after. Even during his illness he was hilarious, eccentric, loving and kind. He just loved to make people laugh. He died in 2022 and not a single day has gone by where I don't think of him.

I can't overstate just how important Oake Meadows in Taunton became to me and Lily. The staff were nothing short of incredible in helping Dad and everyone at the home. They were funny, attentive and so understanding. We were able to leave him at the end of the day knowing that he - and everyone else - was in very capable hands. I honestly don't know what we'd have done without them.

The money I raise will go towards the residents' fund and also towards the staff. I do hope you can spare even just a small amount, as I know first hand just what an incredible and, frankly life-saving, job they do.
