Story
Every year, over 2 million babies die before they are born globally.
Over 98% of still birth occur in low-income countries. Sub-Saharan Africa has the highest still birth rate globally - 28.3 per 1000 births compared to 3.1 for high-income countries.
There are multiple causative factors; some of which are access to quality antenatal and delivery care.
Women in the rural areas are at higher risk of worst outcomes in pregnancy and delivery. Equipping a Rural Midwife with a Fetal Doppler would play a significant in providing quality antenatal and delivery care to pregnant women and reduce the incidence of still birth.

2 years agoIt's almost 10 weeks since we started this journey, and thanks to you all, we have raised £1,084 so far. I can't thank you enough. We are are making a difference together! We have 2 weeks more to go where we'll start purchasing the Fetal Dopplers. Watch out for the updates!
