Miles Lewis had a profound effect on so many lives. Given his service to Samuel Whitbread and the local community, as well as his enthusiasm for sport, it seems only right that he should be remembered with a garden.

That’s really quite amazing - it’s testament to the kind of guy that Miley was and the effect he had upon many lives. An awesome PE teacher who was streets ahead of his time. Personal from me he pushed me on and to break sport boundaries with the disability I have years before all of what we all take for granted now.

Really saddened to hear about Mr Lewis. A fantastic head of year during my time at Sam Whit and I will always remember his larger than life personality and his massive smile. Never forgotten ❤

Mr Lewis taught me, my brother and sister while we were at Samuel Whitbread. He really was a brilliant Teacher, supportive, kind and always funny. Rest in peace Sir.
