I've raised £6000 to Help Send Ricky Greenwood Back Home To The UK to his family.

Imagine losing your mum at only 60 years old to Pancreatic Cancer suddenly and unexpectedly and only 7 months later losing your 30 year old brother to a sudden heart attack.
This is what happened to Stacey Kelly who runs the Irresistable Bar in Protaras, Cyprus formerlly with her Mum, Lynn. Out of the blue Lynn became very ill and within a matter of a few weeks passed away as a result of a very aggressive form of Pancreatic Cancer.
Naturally the entire family were devestated and to help Stacey continue to manage the bar and bring up her daughter, Ricky her brother flew out to help for the summer season, much to Staceys relief at such a sad time for all the family.
7 months on, the family have just hosted a memorial fundraiser for their mum Lynn on what would have been her 61st Birthday.
The community came together and raised money for two charities close to Lynns heart, Stacey and Ricky worked tirelessly all day in memory of Lynn and for the charities in question.
Just over one week later (9th Oct 2018) whilst at home with Stacey, Ricky (only 30 years old) had sudden chest pains and died before the ambulance arrived. A gentle, big hearted, loving young man who was only in Cyprus to support his sisters through a challenging and emotional time.
In total shock, disbelief and horrendous grief for the loss of their mum and now their brother , Stacey and her sister want to help send Ricky back to the UK to his home in Sunderland.
Family both in Cyprus and the UK are desperatley trying to raise the necessary funds to do this as this is very costly all round and was totally unexpected.
This appeal is to EVERYONE to try and help and understand the horrific sadness the family have suffered and to help take away the massive pressure of finding the money to deal with another shocking death in the family.
Thank you on behalf of Stacey and her family for your kind support and generosity during this very sad and challenging time.
