Jon Ward aka Jon Faster aka Fat Mandy - one of my dearest friends, and one of the nicest people on the planet desperately needs genetic targeted cancer therapy.

Jon and I go way back to the early 2000's, he was in integral part of my early days in the music scene, putting on parties and raves all over the country along side another dear friend and utter legend, James Dean who we sadly lost to Cancer a few years ago. The pair of them were like brothers to me and played a massive part in shaping my life. The idea that they could both be gone too early is something I can't even contemplate.

We're raising the essential funds to cover Jons treatment which is not available in the UK so its horribly expensive. Given the gravity of the situation it calls for doing something big and crazy to try and help raise the funds. I've never done a mountain bike race, so I'm going balls out and hitting the Megavalanche in his name. For those that don't know, its the longest and one of the toughest downhill mtb races in the world. it's absolutely bonkers, dangerous, crazy fast and utterly brutal with 3.2km vertical decent and 21km long, starting on the Pic Blanc glacier and finishing in Alp d'Huez. 😳

All costs are covered already so every penny raised will go towards Jon's treatments, and in the event that anything is left over, it will go to Cancer Research UK
