Story

The RHS Tatton Flower Show 2018 garden Food For Thought in the Future Spaces category represents the future of our food security putting farming and environment at the centre. It aims to create a positive vision of what the future might hold for food security. Through the amalgamation of farming and natural environment this garden creates a futuristic vision of how the world may evolve into a progressive and thriving arable landscape enhancing the world we live in.

It would be an honour if you could help us fund the build to show this important message to others.

In helping support a more diverse polyculture of crops we will have cleaner air and cleaner food, which have been linked to helping Alzheimer’s before. It has been shown that gardening with people with dementia can be a form of release. This garden is based on the future of food security, but has a high sensory element to it. It is also commonly known that green space is good for people’s mental health and wellbeing. Therefore, my desire is that any profit made will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Society which holds a dear place in my heart because of my grandmother having had dementia.
