Bring Renzo to Ewood

Backround

The story of the rise of Ben Brereton Diaz is the stuff of legends.

Born on a cold windy Tuesday in Stoke (license taken!) Ben has risen through the ranks of Manchester United through Nottingham Forest where he represented England at youth levels, to the dizzy heights of the mighty Blackburn Rovers.

Ben struggled following his £5m transfer as an 18 year old, scoring fewer than 22 goals in his first 122 games. The Rovers fans wondered when they‘d see the best of Ben but they didn’t have long to wait.

Transformation to Superhero

A superhero type transformation during the lockdown saw Ben return a changed man. In the summer of 2021, the change continued as his Chilean roots were discovered via a video game.... (thanks Mum)

He was selected for Chile in the summer of 21, scored 3 goals for the South American giants and the lad from Stoke transformed into

BEN BRERETON DIAZ 22!

He became an instant hit in Chile rising to hero worship status.

Streets were named after him in Santiago & he became the face of Pepsi.

The Ben Brereton Bop

But the most enearing tribute was the creation of the Ben Brereton Bop by Renzo, a brilliant musician from Santiago.

The song and dance from Renzo and his band became an instant hit with the Rovers fans , players and staff at the club!

The song has inspired Super Ben to even greater heights and he boosted his goal tally for the Rovers to 20 goals in the first 24 games giving Rovers fans belief that the Premier League is calling again!

Let’s Bring Renzo to Ewood

Renzo would love to bring his band to Ewood to see our hero in action in the famous Blue & White halves.

Let’s turn his dream into a realty And raise enough to pay for them to come and cheer on the mighty Rovers and show them a warm Lancashire welcome.
