Story

Hi all! I have decided to walk the Camino de Santiago (The Way of St. James). For those of you who haven’t heard of it, the Camino is a traditional and historic pilgrimage, starting in St. Jean Pied de Port in France, and finishing in Santiago de Compostela in the far north-west of Spain, a total journey of 800 kilometres!

I am beyond excited - I have wanted to do this walk for a few years now and never got around to it, so NOW is the moment. I start the journey on the 27th May 2018.

In planning the walk, I thought it would be a wonderful opportunity to raise money for a cause that really matters. Having met the inspirational Sue Clayton and been so moved by the plight of refugee children displaced in France, I've decided to raise the money for 'Calais Children: A Case to Answer' - http://calais.gebnet.co.uk/ and help Sue continue with her incredible work. We’ll finalise details and update you, but you don't need to wait to start giving!

Please be generous, everything is appreciated. A penny a kilometre (£8) is a good start, but 10 pence a kilometre (£80) will make a real difference! And if you really want to make an impact, £1 a kilometre (£800) would be AMAZING! First one to sponsor me for £1 a kilometre gets my boots when I've finished!
