Story

I met Isaac a couple of years ago through the electronic music scene and from the very first day was surprised at how positive & kind a person could be. There wasn't a single bad bone in his body nor did he have a bad word to say about anyone. One of the most humble & talented music producers I have had the pleasure of meeting.

If anyone is reading this from the Wave community, you probably have heard his tunes through the Liquid Ritual radio show & it came as a big shock to us when we learned he passed away a few weeks before his debut track 'Thank You Michael' was due to be released on the Liquid Ritual Vol. 02 compilation.

It really isn't fair how someone good-hearted & talented passed at such a young age. Isaac had his entire life ahead of him and a great music career in the making.

We are raising money to help Isaac's family burden the physical cost of losing a son and a friend as we cannot even fathom the emotional pain his loved ones are going through right now.

Music video filmed & edited by Adam Drake

"Tiring but rewarding days spent making this video with Isaac. It's still really difficult processing he is no longer with us physically. I am glad to have known Isaac a short amount of time, bonding intensely over music to find we had similar perspectives on things. I got in touch with him when I heard one of his tracks on a Liquid Ritual radio show and they shouted out a chap from Cornwall. "Cornwall?! The fuck?! Nobody makes Wave music in rural Cornwall surely?!" Turns out one person had been...

Fast forward a couple of months and Isaac had permitted me to use the track I just had to have to outro my first short film. Couple years later and I'm glad to have been able to attempt to return the favour in this video we shot in his spiritual home, which, when he was there, he would constantly remark on the beauty of and how lucky we were to have it in our back garden!

Thank You Michael was a giving of thanks to St Michaels Mount, Cornwall and the peace and inspiration it had given him.

Rest easy Isaac, I hope you're making skippy beats up there, and finding the nichest soulful samples to flip. X" - Adam Drake
