Redborne Racing is a STEM project at Redborne Upper School in Bedfordshire. The project promotes STEM and teamwork in the real world, and gives students to chance to design, build and race their 24V electric vehicle. It involves 16 male and female students from years 9 to 11 who have an interesting in engineering, and who aspire to careers and apprenticeships in the industry.

There is a website www.reborneracing.com and a twitter page @redborneracing where you can see all the great work that these students get up on a weekly basis to produce a competitive entry into the 'Greenpower Formula24' series. The competition is against over 250 other educational establishments nationally. Redborne Racing currently sit 53rd, but with the determination and drive of these students are always looking to improve.

The team have sourced funding and donations in the past to create the chassis to their car. This needs maintenance parts such as tyres and batteries. This now has a temporary bodywork. Work has started on the lightweight aerodynamic bodywork , but we have no funds to complete the project. Please give what you can.
