Iʼve raised £5,000 to provide laptops for local Redbridge school children

Story
Too many local Redbridge school children cannot access their remote learning because they don't have a suitable device or access to the internet. In Redbridge alone, the estimate is 7000 devices are needed. We are a parent-led group donating laptops to our children most in need and we are raising funds to continue our efforts. Approximately £200 buys one laptop, so your generosity is really appreciated. We have already provided new laptops to some families, but many more desperately need our help. It's time to take action and we know our community can work together on this.

3 years agoHUGE thank you to Redbridge Trades Union Council ⭐️, Unite Dial-A-Ride Branch ⭐️ and the general public ⭐️ for their kind donations of cash to our Just Giving fundraiser. Today we gave a massive 13 brand new laptops to the Clementswood Federation for the children of Gordon Primary and Cleveland Road Primary. What wonderful #communityspirit!

Our local community (via this fundraising page!), Redbridge Trades Union Council and Unite Dial-A-Ride branch have raised enough money to buy all these lovely brand new laptops! Brilliant! 4 years agoYesterday we had an amazing day. We also took a batch of pre-loved laptops to Fullwood Primary School. The laptops were also donated by STEMettes. Huge thanks to our local community ♥️ Mr Visvanathan is very happy! 😃
