I have had three beautiful and healthy babies at Derby Hospital, three c-sections (two emergency c-sections) and I have always felt safe and in good hands. I received the best medical care and have been blown away by the compassion and genuine kindness of all the staff at the hospital.

My most recent experience was with baby Hannah, she was delivered early via emergency c-section and we spent 8 long nights in hospital together. The care we received, the love and compassion was again excellent not only from a medical side but also from a genuine caring side, which can not be taught - they just care!

I am lucky to have a ballot entry for London 2020 and as a thank you from Charlotte, Henry, Hannah and l, I would like to raise some money for the maternity unit at Derby Hospital so that they can buy some more, much needed breast pumps. I am hoping that with the money raised this will go towards helping mums within the unit and help support with their breast-feeding journey.
