Story
Becky died on 21st August 2018 aged 27. She did so much for so many in her short life and we want to raise funds in her memory to help young people aged 18 to 30 to take forward her work. For example, she was passionate about peace, going to various international peace camps and was Vice Chair of the Movement for the Abolition of War. She also was active with asylum seekers and Friends of Palestine. Quakers were central to her life and she served on many committees. And all of this despite her illness and physical frailty. She was an absolute inspiration.
The money raised through this crowdfunding campaign will go into a trust account with trustees to oversee the distribution of grants.
Thank you for helping us keep her legacy alive.

6 years agoThe fund is still growing. I have £100 more to pay in from the British Lung Foundation - so we continue to move towards our target! Thanks to those who have donated instead of sending Christmas Cards. This is really appreciated. Merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful New Year to you all!

I met Becky when we were preparing to work with young people at Warwick Yearly Meeting Gathering. She was such a friendly person and after only a few minutes chatting I felt I had known her for ages.
