To all who may know my beautiful friend Shannon who recently gave birth to her beautiful son nico sion Heath everet on the 1st of October during labour Shannon had major rare complication called aminotic fluid embolism it happens to 1 in 20 thousand she suffered a massive cardiac arrest and was gone for 68 minutes she has spent a long time in intensive care on a life support machine and nico has spent a lot of time in neonatal intensive care unit both being very very unwell on the 7th of October I had a update on Shannon that she was awake breathing drinking and eating little but she has a huge deal of memory loss she is unable to move anything by her self and unable to see she doesn't remember being pregnant or having nico 💔 but she remembers her beautiful daughter mika saying it's her baby girl. Since then I have seen pictures of baby nico and he is absolutely adorable they are still awaiting scans and test to determine how much brain damage he has on the 12th November Shannon met her beautiful baby boy and got to him him for the very first time the pictures Re absolutely beautiful and speak a thousand words today I had another update on Shannon that she will be moved to rookwood next week for rehabilitation and psycho she does have a large degree of brain damage and has to relearn everything again including using her hands arms sitting up ect she isn't seeing very well so not sure what degree her eye sight will be if at all 😪 this awful journey is only starting a very long way to go before they know the final outcome but one thing they do know is my beautiful friend Shannon will not be coming back as she was and will LwYs require a high level of care for the rest of her life as many of you are aware shannon has another beautiful daughter mika and a very very supportive fiancée ioan this girl would go to such lengths to help friends even strangers she a nice quiet girl who has never done no wrong to anyone just loved and spent her one with her precious family only god knows why this has happened to such a beautiful light of life because that's what she was always smiling happy and a pleasant young girl who would do anything for her children. I have spoke to her mum briefly and they are really struggling emotionally and financially so here where I need you guys to help me and step in and take some of the weight from her family as you can only imagine the trauma they are suffering right now I'm going to set up a go find me page to help hem with what ever costs they need may it be to get back and forth to Shannon or to help support her fiancée Iona or her beautiful kids I'm also looking to do a fund raiser soon so if anyone has any ideas or can help me please let me know this has happened so close to home for me and I feel we as a community Cwmbran pontypool and everyone who knows Shannon can give back a little to what she gave in life faith in humanity kind reguards Rebecca Forrest
