    Story

    Hello my name is Rebecca.

I am 10 years old and I started Kickboxing around 6 years ago. I have progressed through 8 belts and have achieved an A grade for all of them. I am currently a purple stripe belt. I want to keep progressing through my belts to eventually be a black belt hopefully in the next 18 months. I started kickboxing because my mom thought the disciplined environment would benefit me and I haven't looked back since. I loved it straight away and when I was 7 I began to fight competitively.
I train hard, a minimum of 4 times a week. Since I started competing I have gained the titles of KWON UK Kids Champion, WKU British Champion, WAKO British Champion and have even managed 3rd Place at the Irish Open (the world’s largest kickboxing/martial arts competition). I look forward to gaining many more trophies and titles. A medal at the Europeans would be BRILLIANT!

The pinnacle of a kickboxer's career is to earn a place on the WAKO GB team and I have just made the WAKO GB Team for the second consecutive year. In the past year have gone up a weight category so this is a great achievement and going to be an awesome challenge.
The WAKO European Championships are being held in Skopje, Macedonia this year and I am trying to get the funds for my flights, hotel and entry. For me alone is £882 and for my mom to come along side me is £768 (+5% JustGiving's fee). By the time of going I wish to raise all the funds required and will be grateful for any donations.

Thank you for reading my story, and thank you in advance for any donations.
