Story
Over 35 years ago, the Reading Christian Motorcyclists set up the Toy Run to help provide vital funds and toys for children who needed it most. Through the Barnardo's School High Close in Wokingham, the Reading Toy Run has become a big part of Christmas for so many. Every year along the route of the run, donations are usually taken by volunteers. Due to the Covid restrictions in place, we cannot put out collection buckets this year, so the JustGiving page has been set up to provide a way for everyone in the community who would like to, to donate what they can for the school, other Barnardo's projects and local charities. The money donated will go to fund anything from vital equipment for High Close, to helping provide those children who usually have nothing, with a present at Christmas time. On behalf of the Reading Toy Run committee, thank you for the support.
