Story
In August 2018, my brother died suddenly of heart failure at the age of 41. Previous to this, he had struggled with drug, alcohol and mental health issues. He found a second family in Crosbie House, the rehabilitation centre that saved his life. Our family has found some solace in the fact that Matt passed away free from drugs and alcohol. To support them, I am going to read one Young Adult book a week for the next 5 weeks that focus on mental health and substance abuse issues. I will discuss these books and their message on social media. I'm hoping to raise as much money as I can for Crosbie House during this read-a-thon.

Having a young niece with similar problems mean we know how important a safe place is.
